Newsletter History In Janurary 1976 the following facts prevailed:
This was the 4th newsletter, an 8" x
14" mimeograph, hand-delivered.
Joe Evert was president. Bob Campbell
was VP,
and Ray Lewis did both Secretary and
Treasurer.
Annual dues were $10.
Decals for members' autos began.
Eight work parties during 1975 added
beach sand, pulled weeds
and installed the "monkey bars" at the
beach.
In May 1979 the following facts prevailed:
The newsletters were monthly now, 5" x
8" booklet size, multi-paged, and hand-delivered.
John Jones was president, Ray Lewis
was VP, Ann Douglass
and Joe Zintel shared secretary duties
and Junann Meikle was
treasurer. The Association platting
was exactly 20 years old.
A developer's bid for high-density
apartments and a marina
across the lake were defeated.
Annual dues were $12.
